Last night the triangle user experience group held what I would like to say one of the largest meetups I've seen in a while, but it wasn't an ordinary meetup, world "programmer" renown http://www.forta.com from Adobe was showing a demo Flex and AIR at the Railinc office in Cary, NC. Adobe is parenting with local community user groups to showcase their soon to be announced products. Although Flex is at version 3 beta, Adobe's AIR product has been in beta for sometime. After watching the demo of both products the room full of developers asks questions on when each application will be available and left with ideas to start building cool AIR applications. Afterwards I had a chance to sit down with Ben and ask him a few questions about the Adobe tour, his favorite AIR apps, future AIR apps and how does he see AIR apps playing a role with social networking sites in the future.
