Breaking away from interviewing some of the local who’s who in the online community in the Triangle, I thought it would be nice to interview a student athlete at one of our local colleges who may be headed to the Olympics. Student athlete Joe Kindred from Fuquay-Varina, NC attends and trains at Saint Augustine's College to compete in the 2008 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials on July 3rd in the high jump competition. So in the interview I asked Joe how does he communicate with his friends and family while competing, has he thought about blogging, and who is the first person who he calls after winning in a competition (No brainer).
